The Lie

Other people are the problem.

The boss is weak. The team is slow. The market is unfair. The customer does not understand.

Sometimes that is true. Usually it is also useless.

The Truth

Blame gives away leverage.

The moment everything is someone else's fault, you have no move left.

The useful question is not who failed. The useful question is where you still have control.

Strong operators do not ignore reality. They just refuse to make other people's weakness the center of their strategy.

The Move

Find the part you can still control.

Write down the problem. Then cross out every part you cannot affect. What remains is your work.

That may not feel fair. Fair is irrelevant. Control is useful.
