The Lie

Hard work is the advantage.

The highest performers are not always the people working the hardest.

They're the people multiplying every hour they work.

Hard work matters.

It just matters far less than working on the right problem with the right tool.

Effort without leverage is expensive.

Identify the biggest problem you're solving with brute force.

Then ask yourself:

"What tool, system, technology, relationship, or process could make this easier instead of harder?"

Stop adding effort.
